Buggy Barn Quilt Show & upcoming Moda events

I had heard stories and saw pictures of past Buggy Barn Quilt Shows, but to see it in person was a real treat!  My sister, Bonnie of All Through the Night, and I taught a class and participated in Buggy Barn's annual Craft Sale.  One of the other teachers we spent time with was the super talented and really sweet Sue Spargo. I've been a fan of hers for years so it was great spending time with her.
I also made some new friends who graciously had Bonnie and I over for a little vino and great company - thanks ladies!

MODA BLOG HOP

Join us in our Size Matters Blog Hop September 4-16, 2013 for even more fun and inspirations from  designers in the industry.  Moda has graciously supplied us with some fantastic give-aways so be sure to visit each site.
The theme for this blog hop is "Size Matters".  Each designer was given a single quilt block and designed something fun combining different sizes of the block. Does that make sense?

Love the colors of your line, they make me feel warm and cozy. Fat quarters are my favorite pre-cut, because they are so easy to use as is or cut into other pre-cuts.

Loved reading your Blog.... the red and ivory quilt block would be perfect for a Christmas Quilt. Making a Christmas Quilt is on my bucket list. Thanks for the inspiration. ~ Karen Ruetz
