KITS, KITS, KITS!

Needle Keep Kits are now available on Etsy

There are three Fabric Accent designs to choose from; a cat taking a nap in the best of all places, a crazy quilt heart and a very fancy cherry loving bird.  Each is from an original painting and professionally printed on cotton poplin.  The kit includes directions, floss, button, wool, and the Fabric Accent piece of your choice.  All you need is a needle, pinking shears, iron, and an hour for creative fun!
Click HERE to order yours.  Supplies are limited.  If you would like more than 1 of a single design, please contact me and I will make that happen for you.

Sisters Re-purpose Project

I had a great day with my sisters yesterday, we searched through trash to make our treasures and I think we found some interesting pieces.  But then something happened.  We started talking and laughing and all of a sudden it was time to go home!  We are determined to make our re-purposed project a reality; it just won't be until a little later on this summer : )  I'll keep you posted.  In the mean time, maybe you would share some ideas for mine (I don't think that's cheating).  I have this old lamp base that speaks to me and all I need to do to it is rewire it, easy.  What I want to get creative with is the lamp shade.  I have a very basic shade I want to play with/cover/stamp/paint/....any ideas?  Pictures to share?  Thanks!

I would cover the shade in wool stitched burlap with one of your original designs!

Love those designs, really nice to use in projects.
Can't wait to see what you make out of that. I need to clean my house out, you are welcome to come over and take all my junk;)

I've seen a lot of neat things done with burlap. Check out pinterest for ideas. I have so many crafty things pinned I doubt I could get them all done in a lifetime, lol. Love the needle keeps, the only problem would be deciding which one I love the most. :)

Kathy, the kits are very sweet, you might have to start shipping to Australia, as not only me, but a few friends of mine would love it if you did ship 'down-under'
I'm not sure about the burlap suggestions for your lamp
I'm sure you'll come upwith something fantastic

I saw this post and thought you might like to see it. I am sure you could come up with your own idea easily.

I am seeing, depending on the scheme of the room:), a gray basecoat with spreckles, so it looks like the cement in the picture. Then kinda sponge on some green, lightly, like moss, and then (will it end LOL) scatter some of your clever motives around the shade ...Well you asked....so I answered. I am sure what ever you decide will be beautiful!!
