Moda Friendship Quilt Along

Welcome!  Thank you so much for stopping by!  I had so much fun playing with my new fabric line -Round Robin.  The fabric will be in stores until April.

The block I am sharing with you today is fairly simple as I am still perfecting my piecing skills.
This is also the block pattern I used in my free table runner pattern using Round Robin fabric. Click HERE to download the table runner pattern.

After successfully sewing this table runner I had enough confidence to attack a lap quilt!
This is also a free pattern.  The center blocks are fussy cut and I really like how that turned out. The quilt (below) was beautifully quilted by QuiltRocker (thank you Kathy!)

This apron and pot holder pattern uses the panel from Round Robin.  This is a free pattern too!  Click HERE.

    Love, love, love this fabric line! I had the opportunity to see it first hand on Friday at a class I was teaching at my LQS. One of the students had a jelly roll of it (how the heck did she get it already...lucky girl). She couldn't remember the name of the line but I hunted it down Saturday and found it. Now...here it is!     I love the new fabric, the prints are so beautiful. I found your Simple Pleasures book in the local store this weekend and making some of the smaller pieces for now. I was thinking it would be fun to do some in wool applique and use the new fabric for the borders.

    Your patterns are just fabulous! I love your quilt patterns and have many of your embroidery patterns, too! I could not get the Robin's Garden Gate pattern to open correctly-just a bunch of letters and squares.....what program did you use to create it and I will try that?
