PORTLAND ROSE GARDEN and STITCHERY SNEAK PEEK

Portland, Oregon is known as the City of Roses for good reason.  Steve and I took a couple of hours yesterday to wander through the Rose Garden in Washington Park. If you like roses I think you'll enjoy these photos!

I've been on a stitching roll these past few weeks and it feels SO good.  Here is a sneak peek of one of my new designs. I am incorporating original Fabric Accent pieces with each new design. What are Fabric Accents?  They are small pieces of fabric with my designs professionally printed on them.  They are added to finished stitchery projects to add a little something special.  The Fabric Accents are included with the pattern.  For example - the fabric accent piece that is included with the stitchery pattern below called "Welcome Home",  is a banner with WELCOME printed on it.  The banner will be cut out and stitched to the finished piece where indicated on the pattern.  I hope this makes sense!  I'm really excited about it if you can't tell.  These patterns won't be ready for a few months yet, sorry : )  Watch for them!

I can't wait to see the new patterns and I like the idea of added pieces to go with the stitchery.
