CHALKBOARD DOODLE FOR QUILTERS

I hope you are enjoying your summer.  It feels so good to be working out in the yard and watching everything grow.  But last night I caught 3 raccoons in my tiny backyard munching away on my figs and blueberries - grrrr.  I tried to scare them out of the fig tree with a broom, but I quickly realized they weren't afraid of me one bit.  I decided maybe I was a little afraid of them and retreated back into the house.  No blueberries or figs for me this year.

Love the chalkboard design!
Sorry about the raccoons...no, they aren't afraid of hardly anybody.

Another fun chalkboard design, I still haven't hung mine up yet. My husband ran over all of my blueberry bushes, so I gave up.

Oh, those raccoon are such a nuisance. We had one get into our corn and my bird feeders.
I got your newsletter and thanks for tea towel pattern. So cute. Love your doodle too.

the chalkboard design is adorable. My son lives on the 3rd floor (top floor) of his building and has a large deck at the back of his apartment (no stairs). Last year a racoon ate all the veggies he was growing on the deck. This year the squirrels knocked over his geraniums and dumped them out their pots, harvested his green tomatoes, all of his peppers and all of his green beans, ate parts of all of them and stored the rest in the empty flower pots. Next year he's planning to get a synthetic spray to try to thwart all the wild life!
