MINNEAPOLIS QUILT MARKET

Quilt Market was a huge success! So inspirational! I'm usually drawn to the traditional quilts on display, but this time, the art quilts really called to me. I hope you enjoy the photos of the quilts. For anyone who is interested, I took pictures of my booth before, during and after set-up. My booth was pretty minimal compared to some. Some booths had beds, cribs, trees...the whole nine yards (ha ha).

Kathy, your booth looked lovely, I've seen some of the other stalls on other blog pages & i think they have way to much. The art quilts are nice especially the flowers

I think your beautiful stitchery and quilts made your booth beautiful. I really love those art pieces. I am planning on doing some art pieces, but I have a feeling, mine will turn into naive folk art;)

I think one of the best parts about your booth was that matching cape you were wearing when I saw you in the Moda Lissa site. I hope you wore that every day. *S*

Kathy, I love your red door quilt, and I featured it on my blog today (link below). Can you tell me how you achieved the highlighted effect on the "corners" of the bricks that surround your doorway? The sense of depth you achieved is truly stunning.
